Intro to Defensive Pistol
This is a course for individuals with intermediate experience in handgun shooting, have a concealed carry permit, and carry a firearm for protection. The purpose of the course is to give you hands on training with a concealed firearm, and includes multiple shooting drills that can be used to improve your abilities with the firearm. It will also focus on safe, effective, and responsible use of a handgun for self-defense.
This course is 12 hours and includes about 6 hours on the range. 400 rounds of ammunition will be needed for the range time. The course is conducted over two evenings during the week and a range session on Saturday.
Prerequisite: 9 Forward NC Concealed Carry Class or Intro to Competitive Shooting Class, or a qualifying classifier will be required.
